Our commitment to safety extends beyond internal oversight. We insist that third-party private aviation regulators inspect our operation and conduct thorough semi-annual safety audits. That is why Wyvern and Aviation Research Group/U.S., Inc. (ARG/US) recognize Talon with their highest ratings - Wyvern Wingman and ARG/US Platinum respectively. ARG/US went on to recognize Talon for having "best in flight standards" in its 2008 annual report.

PRIVATE AIRCRAFT

As one of the largest private owner of Hawker Beechcraft products in the United States, Adam Katz leverages his experience to set the industry standard for excellence in private aircraft charter and management. Talon fleet aircraft are equipped with the latest in avionics upgrades and aircraft maintenance support. Our aircraft are outfitted with the latest in avionics including Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System II (TCAS II) and Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) PAPERLESS FLIGHT DECK. Talon Air was the first Part-135 carrier in the United States to receive approval from the FAA to use Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) on the flight deck for air charter flights. The paperless flight deck allows the crew to connect to GPS to increase situation awareness, access weather updates around the world in real-time and flight plan a request to change destination in-flight.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

Maintenance inspections are conducted by full-time Talon Air Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licensed mechanics. Talon’s private jet specialists are all factory-trained technicians who scrupulously follow the manufacturer maintenance manuals for all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance from the time the business jet is delivered by the Official Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

AIR CHARTER OPERATIONS

Checks and balances ensure your safety. Before every flight, our FAA-licensed jet charter Dispatchers review every detail of the flight - from the aircraft performance, weight and balance calculations and weather, to airport conditions and runway limitations. Pilot-in-command pre-flight checklists include a Dispatchers release to reconfirm that you will fly safely and care-free.
