Captain Jason Sanders is a former 727 Flight Engineer, flight instructor, and training captain. Sanders has managed Part 91 aircraft and has held chief pilot positions as both Part 91 and Part 135 (providing guidance for the development and implementation of standard pilot procedures for conducting safe aircraft operations). As the former Senior Vice President of Talon Air, Sanders returned to the flight line where he serves clients by manning the Gulfstream IVSP and Hawker 4000. As a Senior International Captain with over 10,000 flight hours, Sanders was part of the team that implemented SMS, ARG/US, and Wyvern ISBAO at Talon Air.
Sanders achieved his childhood dream to fly jets. After receiving a degree in Aviation Management from Dowling College, he attended the Flight Safety Academy for pilot training. Captain Sanders has a passion for flying, which gives him an appreciation for all aircraft types. According to Sanders, “If you’re not having fun, it just might be time to do something else.” His favorite places to travel are Paris, Botswana, Uruguay, and St Maarten.
